This length of garment fabric is faded, torn, and damaged. It is woven in dark blue background color and light colored peachy pink, pale blue, and green silk yarns in an overall pattern of small diamond shapes. Inside each light diamond is a left facing swastika, the symbol of divinity and spirituality in ancient Eastern religions. Interrupting this design is an approximately one foot long repeating pattern of four roundish elements. A large and a small element alternate in a pair of vertical columns and also in a pair of horizontal rows. The first large element is a light colored crane surrounded by feathery forms making a circular shape and the second large element is a pale wreath of botanical forms with a central flower head and a knot shape at the bottom. The two smaller elements are both thin, irregular ribbon-like forms around a thick X shape or a pair of mirror image trefoil shapes. The crane and trefoil elements alternate vertically and as do the wreath and X forms.
