An Italian gilded wood and iron lectern. The raised back of this very ornate lectern has an elaborate vine and floral motif. In the center is a dark red and navy blue coat of arms decorated with crescent moons and fleur de lis. In the front is a raised section decorated with scrolls that would support the book or object placed on this lectern. Below that are two carved rows with a large medallion with a leaf and floral motif hanging below. The two front legs have carved leaves at the bottom, ending in ball feet. The back legs are plain. A large carved urn sits in the center of the front spindle and a smaller leaf carving decorates the rear spindle.
