This is a small miniature painting that depicts a bust-length portrait of a girl in eighteenth century European clothing. It is done in pale colors against a light gray background and depicts the head and shoulders of a light-skinned woman with her head tilted slightly to our left as she gazes pleasantly to our right. Her pale blonde hair is pulled into a curly updo that is tied with a pale blue ribbon. She has medium brown eyes and eyebrows and bow-shaped red lips. She wears a pale pink dress that has a blue and white ruffle around the scooped neckline. This work is displayed in a silver oval frame that is embedded with clear crystals and has a bow shaped hanger at the top.
