This is a short vertically rectangular marble pedestal. It is cream colored with some darker veining through the stone. There are four indeterminate creatures, one at each corner. The top of the creatures appear tucked underneath the thin flat ledge on the top of the pedestal, and the bottom of the creatures end in a fluid curved line and seem perched on tiptoes at the bottom. The creatures seem to have wings with individually carved feathers that meet in the middle of the top of each flat side of the pedestal. Hanging festoons decorate the middle of each side with a large downward facing flower in the center of each one. Many parts of the creatures and the festoons lift entirely off the surface of the marble at certain points. There are missing pieces of the festoons from age.
