Chinese salt shaker made from cloisonne enamel. The base and lid are painted gold, and the body of the shaker is light blue with intricate designs. The lower and upper areas of the body feature dark blue geometric designs outlined with gold, and red detailing. The center of the salt shaker has a band of intricate motifs that wrap around the shaker. The lower portion of the motifs are made up of two green swirls that are attached at the center with a red band. Above this there is a yellow shaped crescent facing downward and there is a spiral design with a red tip that extends out from each side. On top of this there is a green design that looks similar to a flower.
