Provenance
Purchased by Isabella Stewart Gardner from the antiques dealers Moisè Dalla Torre and Co., Venice on 1 October 1906 with another vitrine (F3s13) and 8 candelieri (candlesticks) and 1 ricamo (needlework) for 650 lire.
Commentary
Isabella Stewart Gardner kept meticulous records of many of her acquisitions. In keeping with this legacy, object information is continually being reviewed, updated, and enriched in order to give greater access to the collection.
