This textile is a large embroidered rectangular panel of repeating stylized floral motifs. It’s a little more than 6 feet long and 2 feet wide and composed of two panels of equal size sewn together ahorizontally. The designs of the two panels are dissimilar but complementary. The upper panel contains two rows of cross sections of a large, oval shaped fruit. The fruits are similar in size, shape, and color palette of yellow, red and blue, but they alternate. A thin branching tree form that runs horizontally through the panel connects the fruits. The lower panel contains a paisley motif in the same color palette of yellow, pinkish red, blue, and green. There are five units embroidered on a gold background. In each unit, a red or pink cross section of a stylized, spade shaped, pomegranate form is half enclosed by a curving, predominantly blue, caterpillar-like form containing two rows of alternating white and pink/red flower like forms and a central, green, flower-filled stem.  The yellow/gold background is filled in with smaller flower forms.
