In preparation for Titian: Women, Myth & Power, the Gardner's painting Rape of Europa underwent conservation and extensive technical analysis to prepare it for travel and exhibition. Join Gardner Museum's Chief Research and Paintings Conservator, Gianfranco Pocobene, as he reveals new insights into Titian's innovative techniques and use of materials that were groundbreaking for the time.
