Will Dailey

Neighborhood Salon Luminary

Will Dailey is an acclaimed independent recording and performing artist and artist advocate. His sound has been described as having a rich vintage vibe while having a firm appreciation of craft and big hooks. His performances are heralded for their dynamics and intense energy, all leading famed rock journalist Dan Aquilante to call him “the real deal."

Will's latest album, Golden Walker, has been met with stellar reviews and hit #1 on the Billboard Northeast Heat Seeker chart. The Boston Herald called the collection a "new peak." His previous album, National Throat, amassed over 9 million spins on Spotify and won Album of the Year in the Boston Music Awards, New England Music Awards, and The Improper Bostonian. Will, who is already a three-time winner of the Boston Music Award for Best Singer/Songwriter, also won Artist of the Year in 2014 and best male vocalist in 2015 and 2016.

In 2016 and 2017, he shared the stage with Eddie Vedder in Chicago and Boston for the Hot Stove, Cool Music benefit. He has also shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Roger McGuinn, Brandy Carlisle, G Love, and Tanya Donelly. In June of 2013 he was featured on a Stephen King/John Mellencamp project produced by T Bone Burnett called Ghost Brothers Of Darkland County, and, in that same year, also released an original song he wrote inspired by Jack Kerouac's Tristessa.

He has become an artist to watch not just now, but indefinitely.

I may have felt the magic upon visiting casually, but the collective of fellow artists in the Luminary experience make it a real, tangible, and present gift. Now I feel like a part of me lives on one of these walls.

— Will Dailey

During his time as a Neighborhood Salon Luminary, Will has performed as the headliner in the Calderwood Hall RISE Music Series, and brought the historic Palace Courtyard to life as a musician during Third Thursdays.
