Mikyoung Kim is an international landscape architect, urban designer, and this year's recipient of the prestigious Cooper Hewitt National Design Award. Her firm, mikyoung kim design, has created an exceptional body of work that has redefined the discipline of landscape architecture, inhabiting the intersection of art and science. From the art of ecology and restorative landscapes, their designs address the most pressing environmental and health-related issues, while creating innovative experiences. Mikyoung will share projects that highlight their multidisciplinary approach to designs across scales. Projects will include the Chongae River Restoration, the Crown Sky Garden, the Prudential Center, and the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Tickets are required and include Museum admission.
Adults $15, seniors $12, students $10, free for members (children under 7 not admitted).
