Join us as we take a virtual backstage tour of our special exhibition Drawing the Curtain: Maurice Sendak’s Designs for Opera and Ballet. Assistant Curator of the Collection, Diana Greenwald, will discuss the beloved children’s book author’s “second act” as a set and costume designer for opera and ballet.

Drawing the Curtain: Maurice Sendak's Designs for Opera and Ballet was organized by the Morgan Library & Museum, New York, and reimagined by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for its Boston premiere.
