Laelia lyonsii x L. superbiensThe wildly tall, purple Laelia orchids in the Gardner Museum's living collection are the variety 'Wellesley.' These massive specimens were hybridized and gifted to the Gardner by David Dusenberry of the Hunnewell Estate.
