General admission for children 17 years and under is always free

Stop by the Education Studio and join us for lively drop-in art-making activities inspired by the Gardner collection. Projects explore a variety of skills, materials, and processes including painting and sketching, printmaking, book arts, sculpture, and horticulture.

Working with Polly Thayer Starr Visiting Studio Artist, Yuko Okabe, visitors will explore the art of bookmaking by creating accordion books inspired by our current exhibition, Betye Saar: Heart of a Wanderer.
