Hanging Nasturtiums

Every April, cascades of flowering nasturtium vines are draped from the Courtyard’s balconies, signaling the beginning of spring and continuing a practice Isabella started in her time. The vines are grown from seeds sown in late summer and cultivated in the greenhouses through winter. Ten gardeners are required to create the Hanging Nasturtiums installation, and the result is a stunning display seen nowhere else.
