CALDERWOOD HALL

PROGRAM

Johannes Brahms - Piano Trio No. 3 in C minor, Op. 101 (1886)
Dora Pejačević - Piano Trio No. 2 in C Major, Op. 29 (1910)

The Gardner is thrilled to welcome Merz Trio to Calderwood Hall with a program of two intriguing piano trios.

In the early twentieth century, Croatian composer Dora Pejačević composed a large catalog of work–including the lyrical and energetic Piano Trio No. 2, despite her relatively short life.

This performance features:

  • Brigid Coleridge, violin
  • Julia Yang, cello
  • Fei-Fei, piano
