Holiday Music in the Courtyard 2025

Ring in the holiday season with this jubilant special performance in the Gardner Museum Courtyard! George Steel, Abrams Curator of Music, leads music from across four centuries, celebrating a variety of cultures’ winter traditions. With choral performances by Vox Vocal Ensemble, the all-star American Brass Quintet, and carols for all to sing, don’t miss this magical evening.

 

Please note that this is not a seated performance. You will be able to enjoy the music throughout the Museum galleries. If you need any additional information or accessibility needs, please contact boxoffice@isgm.org

Program

5 pm | Museum closes for regular visiting hours.

6 pm | Doors re-open for ticket-holders. All galleries, Gift at the Gardner, and Café G* will be acessible
*Café G will feature a limited menu of small plates and holiday cocktails/mocktails.

7 pm |  Music and sing-a-long takes place in the Courtyard 
Guests invited to stroll the Palace to take in music from every angle.

8 pm | Music ends and guests invited to explore the full Museum and Gift at the Gardner.

9 pm | Festivities conclude.
