Holiday Music in the Courtyard - 2024

Come join us at the Gardner for an enchanting evening! Explore the galleries, sample some festive libations at Café G, and dive into the treasure trove that is Gift at the Gardner. Then, at 7 pm, head to the Palace to ring in the holiday season with this jubilant special performance in the Gardner Museum Courtyard! George Steel, Abrams Curator of Music, will lead music from across four centuries, celebrating a variety of cultures’ winter traditions. With choral works, music for brass and percussion, a Gardner commission, special guests, and carols—which can be listened to from any of the Historic Building's lavish galleries—this will be a wonderful night for all!

5 pm | Museum closes for regular visiting hours.

6 pm | Doors Re-Open for ticket-holders to the Museum, Gift at the Gardner, and Café G 
Café G will feature a limited menu of small plates and holiday cocktails/mocktails

7 pm |  Music and Sing-a-long in the Courtyard 
Guests invited to stroll the Palace to take in music from every angle

8 pm | Music ends, guests invited to explore the full Museum and Gift at the Gardner

9 pm | Festivities end
