JOHN SINGER SARGENT AND FENWAY COURT

Isabella Stewart Gardner famously invited John Singer Sargent to use the Gothic Room as his private studio, where he created new works of art and became the Museum’s first artist-in-residence. Join Diana Seave Greenwald, William and Lia Poorvu Curator of the Collection, on a special tour through the galleries before the Museum opens to the public for the day, and hear the stories behind some of the artist’s most iconic works.

Contact patrons@isgm.org or 617 264 6045 to reserve your place.

This tour is available to members of the Curator’s Circle and above in the Friends of Fenway Court Patron Program. To learn more about the Patron Program and its year-round engagement opportunities, please click here.
