Join us on the first Thursday of every month for a dynamic evening of sanctuary and community. Museum admission is free from 3 pm through 9 pm and programs kick off at 5 pm. Explore the magic of the Museum’s gardens and galleries at night and stop by Café G for dinner and drinks.

Enjoy an evening of healing, warmth, and compassion with music by Luminary Josh Knowles in the Courtyard and a powerful conversation with community leaders and healers Luana Morales, MawuLisa Thomas-Adeyemo, Nashira Baril, and Jessica Paulino sharing stories of grief, loss, hardship, collective healing and justice for mothers, guardians, and others in Calderwood Hall. Be creative with clay and join Polly Thayer Starr Artist Erin Genia in the Studio for hands-on art-making.

  • Art-Making | 5-8 pm

    Bertucci Education Studio

    Explore the art of adornment with Polly Thayer Starr Visiting Studio Artist Erin Genia in the Studio. Sculpt a pendant using air dry clay, molds, and other decorative materials.

  • Music | Josh Knowles | 5:30-6:30 pm and 7:30-8:30 pm

    Courtyard

    Unwind and enjoy the sounds of violinist and local Luminary Josh Knowles. Experience the Courtyard and the beautiful horticulture during this immersive music experience.

  • Conversation with EMA Project & Neighborhood Birth Center | 7-8 pm

    Calderwood Hall

    Join us for a compassionate conversation with healers Luana Morales, Nashira Baril, and Jessica Paulino honoring Pregnancy & Infant Loss Month and Isabella’s own story of loss. Calderwood Hall will be transformed into a space for healing, offering all those who experience complexities in motherhood a nourishing space of welcome and care.

    We will have a short film screening "You were Welcomed with Love" produced by the Neighborhood Birth Center followed by a talkback with Luana Morales, Nashira Baril, and Jessica Paulino as they discuss maternal care and mental health, their work in the community, and pathways to healing.

    Join us in wearing white to honor the lives of the Angel babies that left us too soon. This is an invitation, not a requirement to attend our event. Come as you are, you are welcomed here. Live ASL Interpretation Services will be provided.

  • Community Sing with Healer MawuLisa | 8:15-8:30 pm

    Courtyard

    After a powerful conversation between Boston based healers in Calderwood Hall, join us in a collective community sing guided by songweaver MawuLisa. Participants will walk from Calderwood Hall to the Courtyard – holding hands and rejoicing in our collective healing.

Advance registration is encouraged for free timed entry tickets for Museum general admission.

Registration opens two weeks before the event for the general public and four weeks in advance for members. Reserve your tickets online by clicking the button above.

Limited tickets will be available in-person at the Museum’s main entrance, starting at 3 pm, the day of the event. Please note that day-of tickets are not guaranteed.
