Inspired by the Fra Angelico: Heaven on Earth exhibition, enjoy a performance by 2007 Artist-in-Residence Ana Prvački and the Verona Quartet, gallery activities, and golden halos during at this lively, social evening. Soak up the enchanting atmosphere of the Museum at night, enjoy music, creative collaborators, a cash bar, playful gallery activities, and hands-on art making. Hungry? Café G will be open for snacks, dinner, and drinks.

Program for the Evening

Courtyard Music

Black Venus spins a set inspired by National Women's History Month—blending iconic sounds of pop, soul, and jazz from femmes of the past and present.

Performance in Calderwood - 7 + 8 pm

Ana Prvački and the Verona Quartet perform Tent Quartet, Bows and Elbows, a sculpture, sound piece, and performance. See the quartet's instruments and body parts jabbing and moving through the fabric of the tent. Each performance lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Artmaking in the Studio

Photograph an inspirational object in the galleries, and the return to the Studio to design your own unique halo backdrop for a selfie.

Spotlight Talks & Gallery Games

Take a closer look at the paintings by Renaissance master Fra Angelico in the Heaven on Earth exhibition with three 15 minutes talks at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 pm. Pick up a gallery game in the Courtyard and go on a hunt for a heavenly art object in the Museum from 6 to 8 pm, or participate in a sketching activity in the Tapestry Room at 8 pm.
