General admission for children 17 years and under is always free

Highlighting stories of our time, local violinist and composer Shaw Pong Liu engages diverse communities through multidisciplinary collaborations, creative music, and social dialogue. Her recent project, Code Listen 3.0, reflects on the intertwining stories of Boston Police, teens, and mothers who have lost their children to gun violence in a citywide series of performances and conversations in Dorchester, Mattapan, and Fenway. Join us in Calderwood Hall for the culminating event: a public-facing, free performance and dialogue featuring local community organizations, including Legacy Lives On, the Boston Police Department, and family members surviving homicide, as well as Pascale Florestal, theater director, and guest musicians Nadia Washington, vocalist; Jason Palmer, jazz trumpet; Ashleigh Gordon, viola; and musicians from the Gardner's Orchestra-in-Residence, A Far Cry.
