Explore the connection between music and art with the Gardner! Isabella was a music lover and collected a number of instruments still located throughout the galleries today. Elizabeth Reluga from our collections team will take us into the Little Salon, a lavish French-inspired space curated by Isabella, where you can find a magnificent harp. For a contemporary take, celebrated harpist-scholar Dr. Ashley Jackson will bring the instrument to life with a performance and talk back on how she connected with this instrument.
