Carla Fernández and Steve Locke

Join us for a conversation between Gardner Artists-in-Residence Carla Fernández and Steve Locke as they reflect on their time at the Museum and discuss the work they’ve been creating since. This talk, led by Pieranna Cavalchini, Tom and Lisa Blumenthal Curator of Contemporary Art, will give us a glimpse into Fernández and Locke’s different artistic practices, how they’ve shifted and adapted during the pandemic, and how the Gardner has been a source of inspiration. The program will finish with a Q&A, where the artists will answer questions from the audience.
