This long rectangular yardage, intended for cushion covers, is an early 20th Century, Japanese piece of printed plain weave linen. Very small dark brown diamond-shapes against white make up the background. The dominant design has two rows of staggered, three leaf clusters, outlined in dark brown, and loosely linked together by thin lines of dark brown tendrils and small solid clusters of three leaves.
