This gilded cast iron, circular medal depicts the Annunciation scene. Mary is on our right, kneeling with her veiled head bowed in front of a standing angel. The angel has one hand raised. Above them is a dove who has rays emitting from its beak. The figures are slightly raised, and are not detailed. There is large curved scroll-work around the edge that forms a circle at the top where a large hook is attached. The back is plain.
