This 18th-19th Century glazed ceramic Japanese Tea Bowl is round and about 3 1/2 inches high. Its curved sides narrow slightly before falling to form a short, stout, uninterrupted, vertical base. The Tea Bowl is beige on the inside and out with irregular, dark brown flecks throughout and a small slash of dark brown on part of the base. A thin, dark beige line encircles the inside close to the top of the Bowl.
