This Chinese jade figurine of a horse is a translucent white color with a tinge of green. This horse appears to be sitting on its haunches with its front legs bent in front. It has a stocky, almost rectangular body when sitting like this. Its eyes are wide open and its mouth is slightly open. Its mane is fashioned with a curlicue on the top of its head and long tendrils falling on each side of its head, almost to the ground. The rest of its mane appears to be braided down its back and ends in a curled tail.
