Feeling stressed with classes, papers, and those looming end-of-year exams? Take a break at the Gardner Museum! Create a piece of art, enjoy music by the Courtyard, and snuggle with therapy dogs.

Programming For the Day

  • In the Courtyard // Noon - 4 pm: Steelpan jazz recording artist Kareem Thompson plays a chill set, incorporating sounds from his newly released debut album, Pan Roots Culture 
  • In the Living Room // Noon - 4 pm: Relax and create a Gardner-inspired collage.
  • In the Palace // Noon - 4 pm: Explore the Museum with a playful, garden-themed gallery game. Pick up a booklet at the game table by the Courtyard.
  • In Calderwood Hall // 1:15 pm: Mellow out in a 20 minute Qigong Movement Workshop. No experience necessary.
  • In the Studio // 1 - 2 pm & 3 - 4 pm: Mingle with local therapy dogs Buster, Chili, Diego, and Lily.
