Enjoy a transformative and restorative evening with meditative experiences, live music, art making, and exploration.

During March’s Free First Thursday, explore our special exhibition Waters of the Abyss: An Intersection of Spirit and Freedom by Fabiola Jean-Louis with a Museum Teacher through an in-gallery Spotlight Talk.

Unwind in the Bertucci Education Studio with a guided meditation led by India Clark from the Wayfinder Institute.

Enjoy performances by master drummers from Jean Appolon Expressions (JAE) and join a conversation led by JAE Founder and Artistic Director Jean Appolon about the history and significance of Haitian Folkloric drumming.

Inspired by the style of hats worn by Toussaint Louverture, the revolutionary who helped lead Haiti to freedom, get creative using stenciling to fashion a hat of your own design.
