The French early-music ensemble Nevermind have been taking the world by storm with their supernatural virtuosity and breathtaking musicianship. This program of French baroque gems showcases composers brilliantly weaving together Italian and French traditions, featuring trio sonatas by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, a rare and accomplished woman composer who worked in the court of Louis XIV, along with works by her contemporaries at Versailles, François Couperin and Marin Marais, and a lesser-known treasure by Jean-Baptiste Quentin.
