Saturday Open Studio

Saturday, December 9, 2023
1 - 4 pm
Education Studio

Stop by the Education Studio and join us for lively drop-in art-making activities inspired by the Gardner collection. Projects explore a variety of skills, materials, and processes including painting and sketching, printmaking, book arts, sculpture, and horticulture.

Get creative in the Studio this fall and make your own wearable art! Create a unique pin with collaged pieces during this art-making activity designed by Polly Thayer Starr Visiting Studio Artist Hannah Oatman and inspired by themes of fashion, style, and self expression explored in the Museum's special exhibitions Inventing Isabella, Fabiola Jean Louis: Rewriting History and Carla Fernández’s newly commissioned work for the Anne H. Fitzpatrick Façade.
