Artist Bio

Christian Restrepo is a Boston based American/Colombia maker who's work delves into the the concept of fashion as functional fine art. A Massachusetts College of Art & Design graduate, he creates pieces in a slow cooked manner using natural and unusual materials to create objects that, with time, wear beautifully - reminding the wearer that everything is temporary.

Studio activities are generously sponsored by Linda N. Cabot and Ed Anderson. The Polly Thayer Starr Artist Series is made possible by the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust. Polly Thayer Starr (1904-2006) was an accomplished artist who captured the culture and whimsy of her native Boston with a unique combination of detail, emotion, and curiosity. The Museum also receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which receives support from the State of Massachusetts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
