Group reservations are required for all groups of 10 people or more. To schedule a group visit, please contact the Education Department at least four weeks in advance via email at email@example.com or by calling 617 278 5147. Please provide the following information:
- Phone number and email address of primary contact
- Number of people in your group
- Preferred date and time of your visit
- Your choice of guided or self-guided tour
The fee for guided college groups is $10 per college student, which includes admission and guided tour. Guided groups must pay a $25 nonrefundable deposit to reserve the tour date. The fee for self-guided groups is $5 per college student, which includes admission only.
The Gardner Museum also engages many local college students through our University Member Program. Students of member universities receive free admission for self-guided tours, and pay a reduced fee for guided tours.
TIMES FOR GROUP VISITS
Guided tours may be scheduled Monday and Wednesday through Saturday at the following arrival times: 11:15 am, 12:30 pm, 1:45 pm, and 3:15 pm. Guided tours last approximately one hour.
Self-guided tours may be scheduled Monday and Wednesday through Saturday at the following arrival times: 11:30 am, 12:45 pm, 2:15 pm, and 3:15 pm. Self-guided groups are asked to divide into small groups of five or less while visiting the galleries.
We have availability for guided and self-guided tours on select Thursday evenings, please contact us for specific availability. The Museum is closed on Tuesday.
GROUP SIZE LIMITS
Due to the intimate nature of the Museum’s galleries, groups of 30 people or more must be guided. Guided groups may not exceed 45 people per tour time.
