Flowers have never been so delicious. Visit Café G this spring for a nasturtium-inspired menu in celebration of the Museum's Hanging Nasturtiums Courtyard display.

Nasturtiums grace the Courtyard in a brief but dramatic display every April. But did you know nasturtiums are edible? The Hanging Nasturtiums Courtyard display has ended for 2012, but you can still sample Café G's nasturtium-themed menu. Read more about the display, or take a look at near-life-sized photos of the mouthwatering dishes above on the Museum's Facebook page.
Café G takes reservations for groups and for select times. For all other visits, please just go to the Cafe upon your arrival and ask to be put on the list. You will receive a buzzer that will work anywhere in the Museum and you can enjoy the galleries until your table is ready. For group reservations, call 617 566 1088 to reserve or for more information. Seating at Café G ends at 4pm Wednesday through Monday, and 8pm on Thursday evenings.
Since 2002, The Gardner Café, now Café G, has served up an inspired lunch menu and award-winning desserts—including a seasonal bread pudding named “Boston’s Best Indulgence” by The Improper Bostonian—under the leadership of Chef/Owner Peter Crowley. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Crowley has earned accolades from the media and patrons alike for his innovative and elegant culinary delights.
Café G opened early 2012 in a new, expanded indoor and outdoor space within the museum’s new Renzo Piano-designed wing.
