Step inside the Gardner Museum’s virtual reading room to discover over 100 years’ scholarship on the Museum’s historic collection.
Gardner herself wrote and published the original guides to her collection, as well as two catalogues of her library of rare books, including A Choice of Books, available here. Since her death in 1924, the Museum has published research on the collection as a resource for both the public and scholars worldwide. The reading room is your portal for free access to a number of these books.
