Polly Thayer Starr Artist in the Studio Series

The Polly Thayer Starr Artist Series is made possible by the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust. Polly Thayer Starr (1904-2006) was an accomplished artist who captured the culture and whimsy of her native Boston with a unique combination of detail, emotion and curiosity. For more, visit the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust online.

Hands-on studio activities are supported by the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust and the Nathaniel Saltonstall Arts Fund. Education and community programs are generously supported by the Josephine and Louise Crane Foundation, Caleb C. and Julia W. Dula Education and Charitable Foundation, Liberty Mutual Foundation, Mabel Louise Riley Foundation, Nathaniel Saltonstall Arts Fund, New Balance Foundation, Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust, Rowland Foundation, Succop Family Foundation, TD Bank, Yawkey Foundation, and Robert and Pamela Adams. These programs are supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which receives support from the State of Massachusetts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
