Excluded Events

The Gardner Museum is unable to host the following: wedding ceremonies and/or receptions (civil or religious), religious ceremonies, memorial services, bar and bat mitzvahs, dances/formals, fundraisers, art auction or displays, political events, events open or advertised to the public.

Hold Policy

A hold may be placed on one specific date for up to one month with the understanding that, should the date be requested by another client, the client holding the date will have 48 hours to complete their contract or release the date.

Confirming Your Date

In order to confirm the event date, the client must sign and return the venue rental contract along with a deposit in the amount of 50% of the venue rental fees.
