This engraved silver cup has double handles that are attached at the lip and the lower part of the bowl and form gracefully curved, opposing “question mark” shapes. The cup narrows slightly from the lip into a tulip shaped bowl that ends in a small, shallow foot. The bowl is decorated with a continuous silver rope motif under the lip. The lower third of the bowl is fluted. On one side, there is an elaborate shield motif with a central polished oval with the engraved letters IWM. On the reverse side “ Rose Show 1888” is engraved.
