Majolica plate with a crack running from the upper right side down to the lower left side. The well of the plate depicts three soldiers dressed in blue and gold, two are standing and one is leaning against a rock, holding a jug. Green leaves and a blue sky can be seen behind the soldiers and the ground below them is brown. There is a white cloth bundle at the foot of the soldier leaning against the rock. The lip of the plate features four cherubs with dark blue wings; two on the left side and two on the right side. On the top of the plate there is a white architectural design with a gold center. Both the right and left side of the design features blue flowers with orange centers. The same architectural motif that is on the top of the plate is also found on the bottom of the plate; the flowers on the bottom are a different type and have petals that are mostly orange with a tinge of blue. The background of the plate's rim is a pale orange color.
