Stop by the Bertucci Education Studio every Saturday for drop-in art-making activities inspired by the Gardner Museum collection. Projects vary each month and may explore a variety of skills, materials, and processes including painting and sketching, printmaking, book arts, and sculpture.

Working with Polly Thayer Starr Visiting Studio Artist, Jaypix, visitors will create a gold frame, inspired by our current exhibition, Metal of Honor: From Simone Martini to Contemporary Art. As part of the project, guests will be encouraged to include a portrait illustration of someone they wish to honor, and decorate the frame cutout.
