Enjoy an evening of ballet dance and live music including a newly-commissioned world premiere performance choreographed by Tom Gold, followed by a private reception with the director, artists, and curators.

In conjunction with its exhibition of the celebrated Faranese Sarcophagus (c. 225 CE), the Gardner Museum presents an evening of three dance works that re-imagine the Classical World.

  • "Afternoon of a Faun" by Vaslav Nijinksy's (1912)
  • "Antique Epigraphs" by Jerome Robbins (1984)
  • World premiere Gardner Museum commissioned work by choreographer Tom Gold
