When spring comes, what will it look like? Explore artworks in the collection that capture the essence of spring and excitement for the season ahead. Join guest artist Destiny Palmer in the Studio to learn more about texture, color and mark-making. Create colorful compositions to help you through these last weeks of winter.
Destiny Palmer is a Boston-based painter and art educator. Known for her vivid style, Palmer creates work that invites viewers to engage, question and critique through the visual language of color. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Palmer is co-founder of Traditions Remixed and currently serves on the faculty at Boston Arts Academy.
All visitors, regardless of age, ability, or familiarity with the creative process, are encouraged to participate. No experience is necessary and no pre-registration required. Activities are designed for visitors 7 and up. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

Polly Thayer Starr (1904-2006) was an accomplished artist who captured the culture and whimsy of her native Boston with a unique combination of detail, emotion and curiosity.
