SATURDAY, MARCH 29:THE MEANING OF COLOR
Sumptuous colors can be found in artworks all over the Gardner. What colors are you drawn to? Why? Artists have long explored the tradition of using color to add meaning in their work. Create your own artwork with your favorite color--what does it mean to you?

Hands-on studio activities are supported by the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust and the Nathaniel Saltonstall Arts Fund. Education and community programs are supported by the Josephine and Louise Crane Foundation, the Caleb C. and Julia W. Dula Educational and Charitable Foundation, the Highland Street Foundation, JPMorgan Chase & Co., the Rowland Foundation, the William E. and Bertha E. Schrafft Charitable Trust, and the Succop Family Foundation. The Museum receives operating support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
