As a nod to Isabella Gardner's love of rare books, we’re partnering with Grub Street, an independent center for creative writing, for an evening of words, poetry, and mingling with artists and writers.
THROUGHOUT THE EVENING | 5:30 pm to 9 pm
Studio Artivity: Altered Statements
Create a vintage book-based artwork with text and mixed media. Space is limited.
With a Grub Street poet and a typewriter, create a short poem inspired by the Museum.

Boston Typewriter Orchestra | 7 pm-7:30 pm / 8 pm-8:30 pm
Rhythmic typewriter manipulation combined with elements of performance, comedy, and satire.
