Education Studio Activity
Sunday, June 30, 11:00 AM
Free with Museum admission
Visit the Education Studio on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm to spark your creativity through hands-on projects for visitors of all ages. Visitors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us in the Studio in June to explore a veritable feast of creative activities. From mosaic tile making to sketching plants from life, visitors of all ages are sure to find something they will enjoy. Try out a faux etching technique and make your own original print, or fashion a rose from paper. First, wander the galleries for inspiration, and then unwind with some art-making time. Visitors young and old are welcome. No experience is necessary- just an open mind.
Hands-on art-making activities are supported in part by the Josephine and Louise Crane Foundation, the Caleb C. and Julia W. Dula Educational & Charitable Foundation, and The Yawkey Foundation. The Museum receives operating support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
