Exhibition Begins—Community Creations

Community Creations is an annual exhibition that showcases artwork inspired by the Gardner Museum and created by students in our Community Partnership, School Partnership, and Teens-Behind-the-Scenes Programs. Represented in the unique, collaborative effort are ten Boston schools and community organizations:
- Beacon Academy
- Boston Latin School
- Dorchester Youth Alternative School
- Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers
- Fenway High School Sophomore Arts Elective
- Hawthorne Youth and Community Center
- Maurice J. Tobin K-8 School
- Mother Caroline Academy
- Peace Drum Project
- YouthBuild Boston’s Designery
Education and community programs are supported in part by the Josephine and Louise Crane Foundation, the Caleb C. and Julia W. Dula Educational & Charitable Foundation, the Janet Burke Mann Foundation for the Arts, the Rowland Foundation, the William E. and Bertha E. Schrafft Charitable Trust, the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust, and the State Street Foundation. The Museum receives operating support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
