Neighborhood Nights

Thursday, August 7, 5:00 PM

Free from 5 pm to 9 pm

In partnership with Discover Roxbury, everyone’s invited to the Gardner Museum for three FREE summer evenings of art, music, and fun—especially for our neighbors from the Fenway, Mission Hill, Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Dorchester. Families welcome! Each evening features a different theme that blends live music and storytelling with hands-on artmaking activities and special self-guided tours for all ages.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7: EARTH ACTUALLY!
Weave natural fibers with guest artist Emma Welty. Learn the art of papermaking with guest artist Julie Weaver. Enjoy the Caribbean Afro rhythms of Tempo International Rhythm Section.

Can't make it tonight? Neighborhood Nights also happens on July 10 and July 24, 2014.
