In the early 1900s, chrysanthemums grown at Isabella Gardner’s Brookline estate, Green Hill, garnered admiration and prizes at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s fall flower exhibits. Today, the Museum honors this legacy, displaying the Japanese-style, single-stem blooms in the courtyard.
Celebrate the fall Chrysanthemums courtyard display with light bites, wine, and a look at the techniques used to shape Japanese chrysanthemums.
