Visit the Education Studio on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm to spark your creativity through hands-on projects for visitors of all ages. Visitors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Watercolor Botanical Illustration with Sarah Roche | Today Only!
Join guest artist and teacher Sarah Roche on Saturday, November 3. Learn how text can be illuminated with botanical flourishes, take a look at reproduced samples of decorated script in the collection for inspiration, and work directly from live flowers borrowed from the Museum’s greenhouse. Letters will be provided on watercolor paper, and Sarah will do demonstrations throughout the day.

Sarah Roche is an internationally known botanical artist whose work is included in collections in both Europe and the U.S. Currently she is the education director for the Wellesley College Friends of Horticulture Center, where she teaches at all levels.
