SOLD OUT

George Hargreaves is the design director of Hargreaves Associates—the firm has received 34 national awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects, six from the American Institute of Architects, five from the Waterfront Center, and three from Progressive Architecture. Recent projects include the London 2012 Olympic Park; South Pointe Park in Miami, Florida; Los Angeles State Historic Park; and the Reinventing the Crescent Riverfront Master Plan for New Orleans. Hargreaves is co-editor of Large Parks, which explores large urban parks as complex cultural spaces that compel discourse on the key issues of landscape—ecological challenges, social history, urban relations, and place-making.

Landscape Lectures begin at 7 pm in Calderwood Hall. Lectures include Museum admission and require a ticket; tickets can be reserved online, in person at the door, or by phone: 617 278 5156. Museum Admission: $15; Seniors $12; Students $5; free for members.

The Museum receives operating support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
